It is equipped with KDF materials to target heavy metals and a fluoride reduction resin that removes 97% of fluorides. The system has been certified by IAPMO for its ability to reduce residual chlorine and enhance the taste of water while retaining beneficial minerals (TDS not reduced).
Designed with precision and durability in mind, the under counter water filter system is made of strong materials and is twice as thick as other systems. It has undergone rigorous testing, including a 400 psi burst pressure test, 100,000+ pulse tests at 150 psi, and static tests at 300 psi. These tests ensure that the system will not crack or leak.
To address clogging concerns, the filter system has an increased dirt adhesion area, providing 20 times more filtration capability while minimizing the risk of clogging.
The lifespan of the three filters in the system ranges from 6 months to 12-18 months, offering a long-lasting filtration solution.
Installation is a breeze, as the system is compatible with 3/8” and 1/2” cold water tubes. No professional assistance is required, as the installation process is DIY-friendly. The innovative push-to-connect fittings allow for easy installation in under 3 minutes. Additionally, the twist-and-lock design enables quick and effortless filter replacement in just 3 seconds.
The under sink water filter system includes a lead-free brushed stainless faucet for dispensing purified water. It fills a 12 oz cup in just 5 seconds. For non-purified water needs, separate water dispensers can be used. For example, you can use your original faucet to wash fruits and vegetables, while using the Waterdrop faucet for drinking water. This feature caters to your specific needs and ensures a reliable source of both purified and non-purified water.
