We want to ensure that our customers understand the capabilities of our product. Please note that our shower filter is not designed to reduce the TDS (total dissolved solids). Many companies use TDS as a measure of water quality, but it is not an accurate representation of water quality as it does not detect toxic chemicals such as chlorine, iron, mercury, chloramine, herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, etc. Therefore, it should not be relied upon to measure water quality. NO SHOWER FILTER WILL REMOVE THE TDS. Our 2.0 carbon filter can reduce chloramine levels but not to undetectable levels. Pairing it with our Vitamin C shower head will achieve that. Chloramine is a commonly used water disinfectant, and our activated carbon filter is effective at reducing chlorine, heavy metals, sediment, etc. However, it is not as effective at filtering chloramine in a shower. To address this, we developed our vitamin C shower head, which effectively neutralizes chloramine and chlorine. These two products can be used together or separately.
