The portable Big Berkey System effortlessly filters enough water for approximately 1-4 people each day. To increase the flow rate, simply add additional Black Berkey Elements, which are sold in sets of 2 (the Big Berkey System can hold a maximum of 4 Black Berkey Elements). This system stands at a height of 19.25" and has a diameter of 8.5".

The Black Berkey Elements have been specifically designed to work together and target specific contaminants, surpassing the reduction capabilities of black filters made solely with activated carbon.

ECONOMICAL, LONG-LASTING

The Black Berkey Elements offer filtered water at an extremely low cost per gallon. Each pair of elements can provide up to 6,000 gallons of clean water before they need to be replaced. The frequency of replacement may vary depending on the quality of the influent water. Adding an additional pair of Black Berkey Elements (sold separately) extends the contaminant reduction capacity by another 6,000 gallons.
