Let's take a closer look at one of our products, the iSpring iron water filter (FM25B). This filter is specifically designed to remove iron and manganese, with a maximum reduction of iron (up to 3.0 ppm) and manganese (up to 1.0 ppm). It lasts up to three times longer than greensand filters due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process. Additionally, this whole house water filter set removes sediment, chlorine, rust, herbicides, industrial solvents, and various other contaminants.
The water filter set fits standard housings that require 20” x 4.5” whole house water filter cartridges, including brand name models. It has a minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimal maintenance.
The first stage of the water filter set is a high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that achieves filtration down to 5 microns. The second stage is a carbon block water filter made of high-quality coconut shell carbon, ensuring maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both filters are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards and have a capacity of 100,000 gallons of water.

Please note that the whole house water filter replacement cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. For well/pond water with very high iron/manganese levels, we recommend checking out our iSpring WCFM500K or WCFM400K whole house water filters. Unlike reverse osmosis membranes, our whole home water filters do not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and maintain healthy minerals in your water. If you are interested in a filter that removes TDS, consider our iSpring RO systems.
