The Intex model 59900 Type A filter cartridge is compatible with a variety of Intex and Walmart-branded above-ground pools, including the easy set, frame set, wet set, and sun & sand pools. This filter cartridge also fits the Intex Krystal Klear filter pump models. Additionally, it can be used with many other best way and Aqua leisure above-ground pools, such as the quick set and simple set series. The filter cartridge is compatible with both the 59900E and 29000E model numbers.
Intex filter cartridges are made from Dacron material, which makes them easy to clean and replace when necessary, typically after about two weeks of use. To ensure you are getting the right size for your filter, look for the large A on the package.
This filter cartridge is suitable for use with smaller pool pumps, ranging from 530 gallons per hour to 1,500 gallons per hour. It is compatible with pumps that use both Type A and Type C filters, including the following filter pump item numbers: 58603, 58604, 56637, 56638, 56635, and 56636.
For best results, it is recommended to replace the filter cartridge with a new one every two weeks.
